ISO 9001:2015 and Customer Satisfaction

We are proud to announce that INDUSTRONIC has been certified according to DIN ISO 9001:2015!

Every 3 years, a recertification audit takes place to renew the certificate for our quality management system. This year we were able to become recertified according to the new standard ISO 9001:2015.

The difference between the old standard ISO 9001:2008 and the new standard is mainly the combination of the quality and strategic targets. Top management must ensure that quality policy and quality objectives are consistent with the organization’s strategic direction and context. ISO 9001:2015 puts greater emphasis on the process-oriented approach and the demand for comprehensive and systematic process management. Completely new to the ISO 9001:2015 standard is the demand for a systematic handling of risks and opportunities. In the future, organizations must identify, analyze and evaluate risks and opportunities as well as plan, implement and control their effectiveness. 

These are just a couple of examples when it comes to differences between the two standards.

At INDUSTRONIC the audit was executed by an independent third party accreditation body at the beginning of 2018. An external auditor visited the company to make sure that all our processes comply with the regulations of the DIN ISO 9001:2015 standard.

During this visit the managers and employees of several important processes were questioned. Especially the core processes like acquisition process, execution process and product development process were surveyed.

The auditor made sure that we met all prerequisites and the requirements of the standard. Aside from verifying the compliance of the standard an audit is always a good approach to learn about the improvement potential in the company.

So after thorough examination, our processes were found to be working fine. Therefore we received the brand new certificate which is now valid until April 2021.

A further element of the quality management system is the determination of customer satisfaction. To identify this INDUSTRONIC conducts an internal customer satisfaction survey workshop every year.

During this workshop, the management evaluated and analyzed the customer satisfaction feedback of 2017.

As we did before, we used an online survey to receive the information from our customers, sales partners and subsidiaries. All participants were from different kind of industries and countries to make sure that we have representative results.

The answers given by the participants showed that they are generally satisfied with our products and services. We were able to improve the customers satisfaction again by 2%.

Our future goals are to keep these standards and to further optimize our internal processes. Thus, we can guarantee superior quality and satisfy the high demands of our customers.
